Spectrum Noir's Aqua watercolour markers are an easy way to add watercolour to any creation.
By combining Aqua markers with gold embossing powder an elegant effect can be created.
Add VersaMark watermark ink onto the background stamp.
Stamp onto Black Pearl Shimmering Cardstock (alternatively use Centura Pearl).
Add gold embossing powder quickly to the stamped image and heat emboss it.
Use an acrylic block as a palette.
Scribble colour onto it, then pick up the colour with a waterbrush and paint it onto the card.
Start with the reds (Crimson and Burgundy).
Add a wash of Crimson over all of the flowers.
To create the dark areas and shadows, add more Crimson towards the centres of the flowers.
Add the Burgundy in the darkest areas.
Use the same technique for the leaves, using Bud Green and Moss
Add colour to the background using Kingfisher and Aquamarine.
Stamp the sentiment in VersaMark and heat emboss in gold.
Trim off the right edge at an angle.
This will add interest to the card.
To complete the card, assemble using a tape runner and foam adhesive.
