Spectrum AquaBlend Pencils Techniques Part One

This tutorial will show how to achieve one of the possible techniques with the new Spectrum AquaBlend pencils.

The AquaBlend pencils are so rich in pigment that the colours are achievable from the darkest shade to the palest!

The video tutorial is a real time journey with just three AquaBlend pencils using the wash effect technique to make two cards at a time…

Materials used:
Spectrum AquaBlend Pencils, Naturals Set – Aqua, Lagoon, Ocean
Sheena Stamping Card
Crafter’s Companion Matt Black Card
Die’sire Kimono die set – Peacock
Collal All Purpose Glue, Collal 3D Glue Gel
Crafter’s Companion Stick and Spray & Stick and Stay
Clever Cut Paper Trimmer
Ultimate Pro

With the AquaBlend pencils are so pigment rich that a real soft subtle look can be achieved with this technique. Without the richness of pigment the color would wash out to nothing too quickly making soft subtle washes harder to achieve. The AquaBlend pencils are so easy to use that they can become a little addictive.
