When did you first start drawing/experimenting with inks/ crafting? I first started scrapbooking/stamping when I was in high school. I LOVED collecting mementos and documenting everything.
What made you start? After my scrapbook days in high school, I stopped creating for a long time. Motherhood kept me busy but when the kids grew up and moved out, I felt that I needed to start documenting our lives again so I started scrapbooking again. I ventured into card-making in 2013 when my daughter was about to graduate high school and I haven’t stopped since.
Are you a full-time artist or is this a hobby that you love to do? I am a full-time artist/card-maker and I belong to a few design teams.
What inspires your art? A lot of my inspiration come from my travels and photos I took along the way. I am also inspired by my other fellow card-makers.
What’s your top tip for marker art/lettering/alcohol inks? Whatever you do, you need to take your time and enjoy creating.
What is your favourite Spectrum Noir product? Original Alcohol markers and the TriBlend markers.
Which Spectember theme/prompt have you chosen and why? I chose to do the cartoon-theme because I love cartoon-like/cute images. I also chose the Holidays on the 25th because the holidays make me happy, especially Christmas when my husband and I get to see our children and other members of the family.
When did you start working on the Spectrum Noir design team? April 2019
