Introducing the Spectrum Noir Monthly Challenge

We are excited to announce that we now have a monthly challenge, and we would love for everyone to play along with us!

We will post a new challenge on our Challenge Page each month on the 15th.  Each week on Saturday (right here on this blog) we will share challenge inspiration from our fabulous team of designers, to help get your creativity going.

Our first challenge, which will be from September 15 through October 14, is holiday themed!  Simply create a holiday card (any holiday will do), colored with your Spectrum Noir markers, and you can play along with us.

The card above uses a Mulberry Wood stamp (available at Crafter’s Companion US and UK) and was created by design team member Kristine Reynolds.  The bright colors are so fun!

She used the following colors on her card: GB10, GB9, GB8; FS8; EB1, EB2; DG4, DG2, DG1; JG1, CT4, LV3, TB4, CR7, TB1, EB8, EB5, blender pen

This beauty was colored by design team member Lis Murphy.  She kept her colors more subdued, for a lovely vintage effect.

The pens she used were: GB1, GB6, GB8, GB10; TN9, TN7, TN5, TN3, TN2, TN1 ; EB1, EB2, EB7; FS4; GB3, LY1; BG4, BG2, BG1; BT2

Please click over to the challenge page, where you will find all the details about this month’s prize, and how you can play along with us!

We can’t wait to see what you are inspired to create for the holidays!

I just linked my card for the challenge. I just have got the spectrum noirs last week on my birthday. I know I have a lot to learn. I hope you will leave a comment at my blog with tips of how to color better.
    Thanks a lot.
    Hugs Aartje
