Add some festive color and glow to a candy cane image with Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers. A quick and easy Christmas make full of shimmer and shine!
This is a digi stamp which has been printed and left to dry. The Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens have been applied directly to the printed image. Start with Hearthside the darkest shade, blend out with Red Berry to create a smooth flow of color.
Next Solar Red is applied and blended into the Hearthside and Red Berry. Solar Red is a lighter shade of red and a small area of white has been left in each section to indicate where the light would be hitting the object and to create some shape and definition.
To color the alternate sections apply Sterling Silver to the areas of deepest shade on each side of your candy cane.
Using the Crystal Clear pen blend out the Stering Silver towards the center of the candy cane.
Add definition to the leaves with Holly Leaf.
Blend out the Holly Leaf with Emerald Green to create a variegated leaf.
As your image is colored you may notice that small parts of the stamp have been missed. Here the central part of the middle candy cane. Color this with your red shades. The ribbon is colored using Moonlight and shade is added with Sand Dune.
Soft Jade has been used to color the background and to make the image ‘pop’. This is blended out with the Crystal Clear pen.
